This is how bike shops should be, local friendly stores that can show their appreciation for you coming in. I would recommend them to anybody, great service, great store culture.
These guys are the best. It's all about service-- not about making a buck. No pressure, excellent knowledge, great memory of past purchases. So glad they are in SLC. We are lucky to have them!
Probably the BEST bicycle repair shop in the valley. It's a small shop. But all they do is repairs, cleanings, and such. They don't have an inventory of bikes to sell taking up space, so yo aren't going to get pressured to buy something. The service is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable. Eric, the owner, and David are super cool and very helpful. In fact, David races mountain bikes for his High School, and Eric races road. Can't go wrong with that kind of experience! I've never been disappointed with our experience there. Their prices are fair, too.
Update: the more I come to the shop the more I like it. Eric does an awesome job, is super fair with prices, and just makes an all-around nice experience. This is what a local bike shop should be.
One quick thing though, never be the person expecting to get free service or hardware just because you read this or any other review, be happy to support local businesses!
Went in and needed a small spring, a small nut and a quick swap of hardware on my mom's bike. I was helped immediately by the man himself (Flynn), he gave me the odds and ends I needed he had sitting in his junk drawer and was in and out in less than five minutes. On top of that when I went to pay he said it was all good, just come back if I needed cables or tubes.
Super fast and friendly. They take great care of you and turn around was impressive given this is their busy season. My bike runs super smooth now and the shocks feel like they are new again. Will definitely be back.
